Prime Care Nursing was started by Emry Oxford RN, BSN, MS in 1987.

Emry has always been a visionary. Prior to starting Prime Care Nursing, he worked as a CCRN in critical care for agencies in Mississippi and Louisiana. While on assignment in New Orleans, he decided he would like to start his own business and did just that when he returned to Mississippi.

Emry started out very small and worked many shifts himself. Utilizing his connections and resources, Emry was able to hire qualified nurses to work for Prime Care Nursing. Over the years Emry has gotten away from the clinical work and has developed a flourishing, well-respected healthcare business in Mississippi and the surrounding states.
