Private Care

Prime Care has experience with a multitude of challenging cases. Over the past decade we have provided infusion therapy, routine home care as well as high tech care for ventilator, quadriplegic and burn patients. In addition we are also able to provide patient education for these services and others, as well as patient education for diabetic wound care. Our clients range in age from infants to the elderly.

Prime Care can provide all levels of care. Possibly a certified nurse aide or a nurse for home care or for clients returning from the hospital needing short term assistance until they regain their independence, we can help. Services are available from two to 24 hours a day for all clients including those who have suffered a catastrophic injury requiring intermittent or continuous care.
img We are happy to provide services that include bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication monitoring and light housekeeping. We also offer assistance with transportation running errands to the pharmacy, picking up children from school or even grocery shopping for our clients.

Long Term Care:

Our years of experience with long term care patients will give you peace of mind when you or your loved one requires care at home. Our caregivers provide the same needed services as listed above and in addition we will file the claims for you on your long-term care insurance.

Respite Services:

Prime Care offers family members a needed break from taking care of a loved one through our respite program. This program is much like a mini break or vacation for the family that has recently assumed the role of caregiver in the family. We offer services ranging from two to 24 hours a day.

Waiver Services:

In 1994 Prime Care became the first provider in the state to offer services for the MR/DD Waiver program. This Medicaid funded program offers services to those individuals who are mentally challenged and are approved for care through the Department of Mental Health.

Prime Care has provided care through the Division of Medicaid’s EPSDT program since we first opened in 1993. This program provides skilled nursing care for individuals from birth to the age 21. Care is provided in the home assisting families with the care of their chronically ill children. These children would otherwise require hospitalization.

We also provide homemaker and respite services through the Elderly and Disabled Program of the Mississippi Planning and Developing District Area Agency on Aging. This program offers part time assistance with housekeeping and respite services for families and individuals who qualify for the program. This program is funded through the Division of Medicaid.

Call us at 1-800-310-2462 for more information on how we can meet your home care needs. We will be glad to discuss your needs and the payment options available to you.
